The Logic Saturdays are a new joint logic seminar between the University of Colorado at Boulder, and the University of Denver. The goal is to have two meetings per semester, one in Boulder and one in Denver. Everyone is invited to attend.

Title: Tukey degrees of ultrafilters

Abstract: We give the current state of research on Tukey types of ultrafilters.
3:30 - 4:00: coffee and cookies.
4:00 - 5:00: Bart Kastermans

Title: Stability and Posets

Abstract: I will talk about some reverse mathematics around the principle CAC (the chain anti-chain principle: every infinite poset has an infinite chain or an infinite antichain). The relevant paper can be seen here.
5:30: Dinner at Baker Street Pub and Grill on 28th street. We will walk there together from the Mathematics Department.
